Sage Haynes - Dive Instructor & Ocean Advocate. SDI Course Director | Elite Open Water Instructor | Argonaut Senior Lead Instructor. Sage Haynes is an accomplished and highly respected figure in the world of scuba diving and marine education. As an SDI Course Director and Elite Open Water Instructor, Sage brings years of expertise and dedication to every course she leads. Her credentials include Argonaut Senior Lead Instructor and a wide array of professional certifications: Underwater Navigation Instructor, Drysuit Instructor, Deep Instructor, Nitrox Instructor, Divemaster, Master Scuba Diver, Altitude Diver, Ice Diver, and Solo Diver. 
Safety and leadership are at the core of Sage’s approach to diving. She is certified in CPR, AED, First Aid, and O2 Provider, ensuring that every dive operation is conducted with the highest standards of care. In her roles as Senior Beachmaster and Dive Safety Officer, Sage oversees complex dive logistics and ensures that all team members operate in a safe and efficient manner. As Argonaut Administer and Classroom Coordinator, she manages the administration and organization of training programs, consistently delivering high-quality educational experiences.
Sage is deeply passionate about environmental stewardship, both below and above the sea. She advocates for marine conservation and sustainable practices, inspiring her students and colleagues to protect our planet's precious aquatic ecosystems. In addition to her instructional and leadership roles, Sage is an avid underwater photographer, capturing the stunning beauty and diversity of marine life. Kaitlin Swartz - Diver, Educator, and Registered Nurse. Kaitlin Swartz is an accomplished Argonaut Instructor and PADI & SDI Open Water Scuba Instructor, bringing a rare combination of technical skill and adventurous spirit to the diving world. As a Divemaster and Master Scuba Diver with specialties including Deep, Nitrox, Drift, Boat, and Night Diving, she’s qualified to teach and guide divers across a range of underwater environments.
Kaitlin’s teaching experience spans Indonesia and the United States, where her supportive approach and global outlook help her connect with students of all backgrounds. Alongside her diving credentials, Kaitlin is a Registered Nurse and Decompression Technician Nurse, offering vital medical expertise to promote safety and care within the dive community.

Erika Obaitek - Senior Dive Instructor & Travel Coordinator. Erika Obaitek is an accomplished Argonaut Senior Staff member and dive instructor. She holds certifications as an SDI Open Water Instructor, SDI/PADI Assistant Instructor, PADI Divemaster, and Emergency First Responder, demonstrating her dedication to diver training and safety.
Erika also coordinates all travel logistics for Argonaut’s international dive trips, ensuring every group arrives together and on schedule. Her organization and experience allow divers to focus on adventure.

Scooter Specialist. When not performing barrel rolls underwater, Ryland enjoys sharing the underwater World with new students. Ananthram Balakrishnan - Ananthram Balakrishnan is an Argonaut Lead Instructor, SDI scuba diving instructor and enthusiast who teaches scuba diving when not working at a tech company. He has been passionate about diving since 2009, with experience in South Asia, Australia, and now the Pacific Northwest. Follow him on Instagram. Rachel Senechal - Rachel Senechal is a cornerstone of the Argonaut dive community, serving as the Lead Instructor and sharing her passion for underwater exploration with every student. As a certified SDI Instructor, Divemaster, Rescue Diver, and Computer Nitrox Diver, Rachel’s expertise is matched only by her enthusiasm for teaching safe and exciting scuba diving practices. Her credentials also include 1st Aid/CPR/AED certification, ensuring the highest standards of safety in and out of the water. Rachel’s adventurous spirit extends beyond the ocean. An avid rider of horses and a chaser of sea horses, she brings a unique perspective to Argonaut Classes, inspiring students with her stories and dedication to adventure both above and below the surface. Her diverse interests and background help her connect with students from all walks of life, making every dive class a memorable and personalized experience. In addition to her instructional roles, Rachel is also the Administrative Assistant for the school. Her organizational skills and commitment ensure that Argonaut operates smoothly, allowing both instructors and students to focus on what matters most – exploring and protecting the underwater world.
Nick Heaton - Argonaut Lead Instructor, SDI Instructor, PADI Divemaster, Rescue Diver, Computer Nitrox Diver, 1st Aid/CPR/AED certified. Began diving in 2010, focuses on teaching and dive travel. Before joining the Argonaut team, he taught on the island of Maui. He has dove in Thailand, Bonaire, the Bahamas and Hawaii as well as cold water dives in South Africa and Canada. He loves taking pictures of Nudibranchs and Octopus (which are his true passion).
Robert "Bob" Crosby - PADI Divemaster, CPR, First Aid, AED. Boat Driver, Began diving in 1988. Have dives logged in Philippines 🇵🇭, Bahrain 🇧🇭, U.A.E., Australia 🇦🇺, Guam 🇬🇺, British Columbia, Canada, Southern California, Hawaii and the Puget Sound. Michael Fuget - Argonaut Instructor | SDI Divemaster | Rescue Diver | Computer Nitrox Diver. Michael Fuget is a dedicated Argonaut Instructor, certified SDI Divemaster, Rescue Diver, and Computer Nitrox Diver. He holds credentials in First Aid, CPR, and AED, ensuring his students' safety is always the highest priority. Michael began his diving journey in 2022, quickly developing a passion for underwater exploration and education. Michael has spent most of his diving career exploring the vibrant marine environments of the Puget Sound. In addition to his local dives, he has expanded his horizons with trips to the diverse waters of California, the tropical reefs of Fiji, and the colorful underwater landscapes of Curacao. These experiences have given him a broad perspective on global dive environments and techniques.
Passions Beyond Diving. Outside of teaching and diving, Michael enjoys expressing his creativity through pour painting, a fluid art technique that mirrors the movement of water. He is also passionate about ocean photography, capturing the beauty of marine life and underwater scenes to share with others. Michael’s artistic eye brings a unique perspective to his diving instruction and inspires his students to appreciate both the adventure and artistry of the underwater world.
Mark Lane - Argonaut and SDI Instructor, PADI Divemaster, Rescue Diver, and More Mark Lane is a highly qualified and passionate dive instructor with a wealth of experience both in teaching and exploring underwater environments. As an Argonaut Instructor and SDI Instructor, Mark brings professionalism and enthusiasm to every class. He holds certifications as a PADI Divemaster and Rescue Diver, as well as specialty credentials in Drysuit and Computer Nitrox Diving. Additionally, Mark is 1st Aid/CPR/AED certified, ensuring safety and preparedness in all aspects of his work. Mark began his diving adventure in 2019 and has never looked back. Since his first plunge, he has immersed himself in the world of scuba, continuously seeking to expand his skills and knowledge. His dedication to the sport is evident in his ongoing involvement and pursuit of further certifications.
Mark has had the privilege of diving in some of the world’s most exotic and breathtaking locations. His underwater travels have taken him to Belize, Mexico, Hawaii, the Bahamas, and Honduras. These experiences have enriched his understanding of marine life and environments, and they inspire his teaching and diving philosophy.When he’s not instructing students or leading dives, Mark loves searching for octopus and nudibranchs, always on the lookout for these fascinating creatures. Outside the water, he is an avid water sports enthusiast, hiker, and cyclist, enjoying the adventure and tranquility that nature has to offer.
Craig Reames - Argonaut Divemaster. Craig took his open water class with Argonaut 6/23 and has been chasing underwater time ever since. Going on to be a divemaster for Argonaut Diving he also pursued the technical diving world and loves his DPV! When Craig isn’t underwater he’s either working as an ICU nurse or doing one of his other hobbies, which include woodworking, snowboarding, and rock climbing. Nicknamed "Mr Gadget Jr". He is still working on fitting the dive shop in his pocket. Still to add is an O ring pick.
Ishaan Thakker - Ish is an Argonaut Divemaster and Rescue Diver, with certifications in Nitrox, Drysuit, Deep, Night, Navigation, and Advanced specialties, all completed through Argonaut. He specializes in sidemount diving as well.
His favorite place to dive is the Yucatán, where he travels every six months, and he has recently found a new interest in cave diving. He enjoys helping divers feel comfortable and confident underwater while supporting their development and appreciation for the ocean. Outside of diving, Ish works as a software engineer.

contributing Argonaut Underwater Photographer. Bonnie is a true PNW girl. Born and raised in Snohomish County she grew up near the Pilchuck River where she spent most of her summers swimming. She learned to dive in 2013 and fell in love with being underwater. Once she started diving she couldn’t stop learning until she became a PADI Assistant Instructor. She loves both the cold water of the Salish Sea as well as the warm blue water of the Caribbean and South East Asia. Night and wall dives are her favorites, but she enjoys any day spent underwater. When not with students you will typically find Bonnie with her camera taking critter pics; nudibranchs are her favorite subject because they move slowly.
