Classes
Read the schedule before you sign up! You are responsible to know it!
Note: PADI version classes have additional fee which reflects our cost including handling of PADI materials. Argonaut recommends if you have any questions regarding which agency you should pick, call us. Both SDI and PADI programs are excellent programs and virtually the same. The cert cards are accepted equally around the world.
You have one year to complete certification classes unless other arrangements are made.
ASSESSMENTS CON ED COURSES: If you are registering for a continuing education class, it is incumbant upon you to be quailified to take that class. This includes recent dive experience. Any preuquisites required for the course you are taking. And you are in good phyical condition to take the course. Argonaut Instructors will do a prelimianry assessment of your dive skills prior to the the first dive of the class. Argonaut reserves the right to require additional traning if we feel you are not ready for the course you are registered for.
Swim assessment tests for OW class include a ten-minute tread/float and a 200 yd swim. For all classes you must be in reasonable shape and cleared by doctor if any "yes" answers on medical questionnaire.
If you request a transfer, less than twenty-one days before the start of class there is a $300.00 transfer fee. All transfers are subject to availability, assessed ten days prior to the start of class you are trying to transfer into. Our classes typically sell out each month, so scheduling may be difficult.Payment or 100% attentance, is not a guarantee of eventual certification.
Attendance in all sessions is required to pass course. If you are late or miss any session, through no fault of Argonaut Diving, you will be rescheduled to the next available class and charged a transfer fee of $300.00, in addition, you will be responsible for additional rental fees for equipment Argonaut provides (Open Water Classes). Note, next class time could easily be months in the future and subject to availability assessed ten days prior to class start time (priority given to new students). Our classes typically sell out each month, so scheduling may be difficult.Students must complete all SDI or PADI required skills and modules for certification.For non-scheduled sessions additional fees, including rental fees for equipment, will apply, dependent on pool and staff availability. Full refunds are available prior to start of class once all class materials have been returned to Argonaut Diving in original condition, otherwise partial refund No refunds 21 days prior to start of class.No refunds available if you fail to pass the class. Completed DAN medical questionnaire is required, any affirmative answers will require a doctor's release form before student is allowed into the water. No exceptions! Link on class page for review of questions. If we have to reschedule you because of incomplete or no form, transfer fee applies.100% attendance is required but does not guarantee certification.All students are required to sign liability release and Assumption of Risk agreement, medical statement. Any yes answers on medical questionnaire require a doctors signature that you are cleared to dive. Without this form, we cannot let you in the water. NO EXCEPTIONS!
Argonaut Diving reserves the right to postpone any classes that do not have minimum number of students to run course. In the event of postponement, student may opt for refund or for later class date. No transfer fees in this instance.

Terms and Conditions for Argonaut Diving International Trips
Introduction
Welcome to Argonaut Diving International! Before embarking on any of our diving adventures, we kindly ask you to read and understand the following terms and conditions. These guidelines ensure your safety, enjoyment, and compliance during the course of our trips. By booking a trip with us, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
1. Booking and Reservations
- All bookings must be made through our official website, authorized agents, or by direct contact with our customer service team.
- A deposit of $300.00 to $700.00 of the total trip cost (varies) is required to secure your reservation. This is a nonrefundable deposit. No exceptions! No further payments are due until 12 months prior to the trip. Remaining payments scheduled per charter requirements.
- Reservations made less than 120 days before departure must be paid in full at the time of the booking.
2. Cancellation and Refund Policy
- All cancellations made are subject to charter policies, except the initial deposit which is nonrefundable. Any eligible refunds from charters are subject to 10% administrative fee to Argonaut Diving.
- If Argonaut Diving International cancels a trip, clients are entitled to a full refund or the option to reschedule the trip without penalty.
- If charter cancellation occurs, any refunds are subject to charter policies.
- All refunds are issued after the trip is completed and Argonaut completes full reconciliation of the trip.
- You cannot sell or transfer your spot, without approval of Argonaut Diving International.
3. Participant Requirements
- All participants that are diving must hold a valid diving certification from a recognized agency (e.g., SDI, PADI, SSI, NAUI or equivalent).
- Participants must present a medical certificate declaring them fit to dive within the past 12 months.
- The minimum age for participation is 18 years old. Minors are only allowed with Argonaut Diving permission.
- Participants must adhere to Argonaut Diving International’s safety guidelines and instructions at all times.
- If you are a single diver, you will be assigned a roommate in all Double Occupancy rooms. We will assign you a roommate of the same sex, unless your permission is given to do otherwise. No guarantee on roommates unless you register with a partner/buddy.
4. Liability and Insurance
- Argonaut Diving International is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage incurred during the trip, except where caused by gross negligence on our part.
- All participants will be required to sign Liability Release for Argonaut Diving and its staff. This in addition to any releases required by charter.
- Participants are responsible for obtaining adequate travel and dive insurance that covers medical emergencies, trip cancellations, equipment damage, and other unforeseen incidents. Most charters require DAN insurance or similar.
- Travel insurance is recommended but not required.
5. Equipment and Conduct
- Participants are encouraged to bring their own diving equipment. Equipment rentals are available upon request and must be arranged in advance.
- Damages to rented equipment caused by negligence will incur replacement or repair fees.
- All participants are expected to conduct themselves courteously and respectfully toward fellow participants, staff, and local communities. You represent Argonaut Diving.
6. Environmental Responsibility
- Participants must follow environmental guidelines, including avoiding contact with marine life, refraining from littering, and respecting protected areas.
- Argonaut Diving International reserves the right to terminate the participation of individuals who violate these policies without a refund.
7. Force Majeure
- Argonaut Diving International is not responsible for cancellations or changes caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to weather conditions, natural disasters, political unrest, or pandemics.
- In such instances, we will endeavor to reschedule trips or offer credit toward future bookings.
8. Amendments
- Argonaut Diving International reserves the right to update or modify these terms and conditions at any time. Participants will be notified of any significant changes in advance. Please note; final payments will have additional add on fees included at that time. Such fees include, but are not limited to, Nitrox, Park Fees, Conservation fees, Fuel Surcharges, Handling fees, and Transfer fees (if not included by charter).
9. Governing Law
- These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Argonaut Diving International operates. Argonaut Diving operates and is a United States Company in the State of Washington
- Any disputes arising from these terms and conditions shall be resolved in the courts of the same jurisdiction.
10. Consent
- By booking with Argonaut Diving International, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
